NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA)
The undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) program stimulates interest among undergraduates in research in the natural sciences and engineering and encourages students to pursue graduate studies and research careers in these fields.
The highest priority of the program is to provide research opportunities to students with aptitude in research in NSERC-funded areas. Benefit to supervisors of these students is secondary.
NSERC encourages qualified Aboriginal students to apply.
Value of the Barber School NSERC USRA is $4,500 plus $2,000 supervisor top-up.
