Experiential Learning and Research

IKBSAS Undergraduate Research Awards
The Undergraduate Research Awards (URA) program is funded by the Irving K. Barber Endowment. The program encourages undergraduate students enrolled in the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences to pursue innovative and original research as part of their learning experience.

International Education Travel Subsidy
This program funds educational opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students in the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences to gain experiential learning related to their studies in an international setting.

NSERC-USRA Undergraduate Research
The undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) program stimulates interest among undergraduates in research in the natural sciences and engineering and encourages students to pursue graduate studies and research careers in these fields.

Senate Awards

The Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences offers a variety of student awards and prizes for both undergraduate and graduate students.
